How to Participate in the Swap

1. Pick out clothing and gear that is new or gently used. Please make sure all your items are clean and free of stains and rips.

2. Complete an item list. When pricing your items please have in mind that we would like to keep this swap affordable. Check out the pricing guide for suggested item prices. If you have any questions on how much your item is worth email us with the name of your item, how much you bought it for, what condition it is in and how long you have had it for, we'll email you back a price suggestion.

3. Then, either 
    a)  email your item list to [email protected] prior to drop off.  You will receive a confirmation e-mail. Clearly label the bag (or bags) with your full name and drop them off at the front desk of the YMCA on one of the drop-off days.  On the day of the swap you can pick up your voucher which will be worth 50% of the value of your items*
                                                                                                                  OR
    b) Bring your completed item list with your items (neatly folded in a clearly labeled bag) between 10am - 11am on the day of the swap. There will be a person to collect the items and issue your voucher which will be worth 50% of the value of your items*

4. On the day of the swap you can then 'buy' items using your voucher and/or cash.  All proceeds will go directly to the Strong Kids Campaign

5. If you are not dropping off items, you can still participate in the swap. Just come along on the day and purchase items using cash only.


*Please note.  This voucher has no monetary value and can only be used in exchange for items on the day of the swap.
